Dulbecco's Modified Eagle Medium/Nutrient Mixture F12 Ham (DMEM/F12) formula combines the high concentration of glucose, amino acids, and vitamins from DMEM with the components of F-12, including L-glutamine and HEPES, which are nutrient-rich and support the growth of a wide range of cells, including certain epithelial cells and endothelial cells.
