Exosomes are a type of extracellular vesicle (EV) with a diameter of approximately 30–150 nm. They contain nucleic acids, proteins, lipids, and other bioactive molecules. Almost all cell types can produce and release extracellular vesicles. Exosomes naturally occur in body fluids—including blood, saliva, milk, and urine—and can reach distant cells and tissues via the circulatory system, exerting intercellular regulatory functions. Exosomes hold great potential in basic research, translational applications, gene therapy, targeted drug delivery, and other fields related to cancer and other diseases. Consequently, exosomes have emerged as a major research hotspot in the life sciences.
XP Biomed provides a comprehensive solution for exosome research, including cell culture, exosome enrichment, isolation and purification, characterization, downstream analysis (e.g., RNA-omics, proteomics, and exosome tracking), and more.
