AmnioType was specifically developed for fetal chromosome karyotype analysis of primary amniocyte and chorionic villus cell culture. Amniotic fluid with fetal sheded cells or chorionic cells obtained by amniocentesis are cultured and proliferated using this medium to provide follow-up tests, such as chromosome karyotype analysis.
